BOGOR, LITERASIHUKUM.COM — The police uncovered an alleged illegal distribution of group G strong drugs in the Laladon Market area, Ciomas, Bogor Regency, West Java. From this disclosure, officers secured a total of 2,311 pills of strong drugs consisting of tramadol, trihexyphenidyl, and eximer.
Ciomas Police Chief Commissioner Hendra Kurnia said that the disclosure of this case began with follow-up to reports from the public who were concerned about the rampant circulation of strong drugs freely around Laladon Market. When patrols were carried out on Saturday night (11/4/2026), officers found suspicious activity at the location.
According to Hendra, the police initially saw many residents, especially young people, going back and forth carrying packages. When officers approached the location, two men suspected of being sellers actually ran away and left evidence at the scene.
“Patrol officers saw suspicious community activity. When approached, there were two young men who ran away and were suspected of being sellers of the list G drugs,” said Hendra.
Thousands of Pills and Cash Secured
From the location, the police confiscated 1,896 tramadol pills, 393 trihexyphenidyl pills, and 22 eximer pills. In addition, officers also secured Rp 100,500 in cash, which is suspected to be the proceeds from the sale of these strong drugs.
All evidence was then taken to the Ciomas Police Station for initial data collection. The police have also coordinated with the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Bogor Police to follow up on the disclosure and pursue the fleeing perpetrators.
This disclosure once again highlights the issue of the circulation of category G hard drugs that are sold freely, especially in public spaces close to adolescent activities. In addition to violating regulations, the sale of hard drugs without doctor supervision also carries the risk of abuse and serious health impacts.
Police Investigate Sales Network
Although two suspected sellers managed to escape, the police ensured that the investigation continues. The authorities are now investigating the possibility of a wider illegal hard drug sales network in the area, including distribution patterns and target buyers.
This case serves as a warning that supervision of the circulation of hard drugs is not only important from the point of law enforcement, but also from the point of protecting the public, especially the younger generation, from the dangers of high-risk substance abuse.
