Ferdy Sambo's Indictment

In an indictment as thick as 97 pages, Sambo was charged with two articles. In the first indictment, the prosecutor charged the former Head of the National Police's Profession and Security Division with Article 340 subsidiary to Article 338 and Article 55 of the Criminal Code. In this indictment, Sambo is accused of being involved in the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

In the second indictment, Sambo was charged with committing acts of obstructing law enforcement or obstruction of justice because he removed CCTV camera evidence at the scene of Bripka J's murder. Sambo was charged with violating Article 49, Article 48 paragraph 1 juncto Article 33, and Article 32 paragraph 1 juncto Article 55 of the Criminal Code. In addition to Article 221 paragraph 1, the prosecutor also used Article 223 juncto Article 55 of the Criminal Code.

Ferdy Sambo's Demands

The prosecutor demanded that Ferdy Sambo be sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Sambo was considered to have violated the primary indictment, namely Article 340 of the Criminal Code juncto Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code concerning premeditated murder. In addition, Sambo was considered to have violated the second primary indictment, namely Article 49 juncto Article 33 Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) juncto Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code.
