Jakarta, LiterasiHukumCom – The mediation process between the former Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, and Lisa Mariana at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on Tuesday (23/9) ended in deadlock. Both parties chose not to attend and were only represented by their respective legal teams in the continuation of the legal process for the alleged defamation case. Lisa Mariana's attorney, Jhonboy Nababan, stated that his client was absent due to illness. Meanwhile, Ridwan Kamil's attorney, Muslim Jaya Butarbutar, did not provide a specific reason for his client's absence. "Lisa is sick and has given her power to us," Jhon said at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. With this mediation failure, the legal process for Ridwan Kamil's report against Lisa Mariana will certainly continue.

Root of the Dispute: Child Claim and Police Report

This dispute began with Lisa Mariana's claim that she had a child with Ridwan Kamil. She mentioned that their meeting took place in a hotel in Palembang in June 2021. Feeling that his reputation had been tarnished, Ridwan Kamil strongly denied the allegations and reported Lisa to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police on April 11, 2025 for alleged violations of the ITE Law.

DNA Test Results as Key to Investigation

As a crucial part of the investigation process, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police together with the Police Medical and Health Center (Pusdokkes) have carried out a DNA test. The results scientifically refute Lisa Mariana's claims. The test results show the DNA of the child born to Lisa is not identical to Ridwan Kamil's DNA. On the contrary, the child's DNA was proven to match Lisa's DNA, which confirms that she is the biological mother. This finding is strong evidence in the defamation report filed by Ridwan Kamil. Nevertheless, Lisa Mariana's side accused the DNA test results of being engineered and requested a retest for comparison. However, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police stated that it would not hold a retest of the DNA and handed over the initiative to both parties independently.
