JagaPemilu.com, a platform for reporting election violations, was officially launched on Friday (5/1/2024) in Jakarta. The main objective of this platform is to increase public participation in monitoring the 2024 Election.One of the initiators of JagaPemilu.com, Luky Djani, stated the importance of the JagaPemilu.com site as a means of citizen participation in monitoring elections. Luky explained that this site serves as a place to report any form of violation or fraud that may occur during the election process.
Luky emphasized that directly involving the public can reduce the potential for fraud, maintain the integrity of the election, and increase public trust in the democratic process. One of the founders of JagaPemilu.com, Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas, added that through active citizen participation, this platform contributes to the realization of a healthy and integrity-based democracy.The use of JagaPemilu.com as an election monitoring volunteer is explained with simple steps. First, prospective volunteers can access the site https://jagapemilu.com to register as volunteers. After completing the registration form, they will wait for the verification process. Once verified, volunteers can report violations during the campaign period through the site, and are asked to photograph form C-Hasil on polling day.
