BEKASI, literasihukum.com – The police have successfully arrested two suspected perpetrators related to the discovery of a corpse inside a freezer in a geprek chicken stall. This unfortunate incident occurred in Mega Regency Housing Complex, Sukaragam Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. It is known that the victim was an employee of the stall named Abdul Hamid.freezerThis arrest was directly confirmed by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Abdul Rahim. Although he has not explained the chronology of the arrest in detail, he confirmed that the two suspected perpetrators have been secured by the authorities.

“Yes, we have arrested the two perpetrators. Their initials are DS alias A and S,” said AKBP Abdul Rahim when asked for information on Sunday (29/3/2026).

Sebelumnya, warga di sekitar Perumahan Mega Regency digegerkan oleh penemuan jasad Abdul Hamid pada Sabtu (28\/3\/2026) malam. Korban ditemukan tewas dalam kondisi terbungkus kain dan plastik di dalam freezer place of work.

This incident was first revealed by AL, the owner of the ayam geprek stall. He decided to check his kiosk after becoming suspicious because one of the shopkeepers could not be contacted for several days, in the middle of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

"I came here because all the employees were on leave for Eid. When I checked and peeked through the gap, I saw something suspicious. When it freezer was opened, it turned out that the victim was wrapped in cloth and plastic inside," AL explained to reporters.

Currently, the police are still investigating this case to uncover the motive behind the murder.
