Jakarta, LiterasiHukumCom – The Indonesian National Army (TNI AD) guarantees that the legal process against its two members from the Special Forces Command (Kopassus), Serka N and Kopda FH, who are suspects in the kidnapping and murder case, will be transparent. Both were involved in a case that killed a bank branch head, M. Ilham Pradipta. The Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General TNI Wahyu Yudhayana, on Saturday (20/9/2025), emphasized that the trial of the two suspects in the military court would be held in public. "The trial in the military court will be held in public," Wahyu said. Currently, the two suspects are still undergoing intensive examination by the Jaya Military Police (Pomdam Jaya). Wahyu explained the flow of the legal process that the two would undergo in the military justice system. "After the investigation at the investigator level (Pomdam) is complete, the case file will be handed over to the military auditor (public prosecutor)," he explained. "Later, the auditor will have two weeks to make an assessment of the file. If it is complete, the auditor will hand it over to the military court for trial." Wahyu also added that, at the initial stage of the investigation, the superiors of the two suspects were questioned because they left the unit without permission. However, after their status was raised to suspects, legal accountability shifted to their respective personal responsibilities. In this case, Pomdam Jaya has detailed the roles of the two suspects. Serka N acted as an intermediary between the mastermind from civilian circles with the initials JP and Kopda FH. He also participated in detaining the victim to prevent him from rebelling and disposing of the victim's body in the Bekasi area. Meanwhile, Kopda FH acted as a field coordinator who received operational funds of Rp95 million. He was assigned to recruit a team of kidnapping executors and hand over the victim to the mastermind group. This case is a collaboration between the Polda Metro Jaya and Pomdam Jaya. A total of 15 suspects from civilian circles are being handled by the Polda Metro Jaya, while the two TNI soldiers are being processed under the jurisdiction of the military court.
