JAKARTA, Legal Literacy - A man with the initials D (32) was allegedly a victim of abuse by his neighbor in Kapuk, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, after protesting the noise of drums that were often played in the neighborhood. The incident occurred on Jalan Dahlia III RT 04/RW 09, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at around 2:00 PM.

The victim claimed to have suffered injuries to his face and other parts of his body due to a series of violent acts, ranging from punches, kicks, to being dragged on the asphalt. In his statement, the victim mentioned that there were injuries to his head, cheeks, eyes, elbows, waist, buttocks, and knees due to falling and friction from the asphalt during the incident.

According to narratives circulating in several reports, the conflict was triggered when the victim reprimanded the drumming activity, which was considered disturbing. The commotion then escalated into a verbal argument and resulted in alleged abuse.

The victim also stated that the incident involved more than one person and that there was alleged further violence when the victim was already in a fallen position.
