Jakarta, LiterasiHukumCom– The legal efforts taken by the President Commissioner of PT Dosni Roha Logistik, Bambang Rudijanto Tanoesoedibjo, to cancel his suspect status have failed. The sole judge of the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel) rejected all pre-trial requests submitted by him related to the alleged corruption case of social assistance (bansos). The decision was read out by the sole judge Saut Erwin Hartono in a trial at PN Jaksel on Tuesday (23/9/2025). "Adjudicating, in the main case: rejecting the Pre-Trial Applicant's request in its entirety," Judge Saut Erwin Hartono asserted when reading out the verdict.

Determination of Suspect by the KPK Declared Valid

In his consideration, the judge stated that the determination of suspect status against Rudy Tanoesoedibjo by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was in accordance with procedures and based on sufficient evidence. The judge emphasized that the KPK had pocketed three valid pieces of evidence. In addition, the judge also noted that Rudy Tanoesoedibjo had undergone examination at the investigation stage of this case. Thus, all arguments put forward by the applicant were considered baseless. "Then all the Applicant's requests must be declared rejected in their entirety," the judge said, adding that the case costs were borne nil by the applicant.

Flashback of the Bansos Corruption Case

This case is a development of the corruption case of bansos distribution at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) in 2020. In August 2025, the KPK announced five new suspects, consisting of three individuals and two corporations. Although the KPK has not detailed the identities of all the suspects, Rudy Tanoesoedibjo's name emerged after he was included in four people who were prevented from traveling abroad. His suspect status became clear when he registered a pre-trial lawsuit with case number 102/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL, which has now been rejected by the court.
